Understanding Faculty Benefits, a session designed for new full-time faculty, is scheduled on Tuesday, August 13 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM in room 222 in the Arts Administration Building (AAB –building # 8 on the North Campus map).  Contact Joann Westbrook for more information.


Day One: Wednesday, August 14, 2013 (tentative agenda)

8:00 - Registration and Continental Breakfast
Enjoy coffee, juice, bagels while you meet campus colleagues.

Colleagues new to campus in 2012 offer their perspectives, insights, and wisdom for acclimating to campus and St. Louis.

Shuttle buses depart from the Circle, navigate the North and South Campuses, making brief stops for welcome gifts and information.

11:30 - First Impressions Last: What to do on the first day of class
The messages students receive at the first class meeting shape their attitudes and behaviors.
